SPY ETF Better Than Jim Cramer’s Picks

Jim_cramer_etfs Jim Cramer’s stock picks on his nightly CNBC show "Mad Money" have not beaten the market over the past two years, according to Bill Alpert for Barron’s. During that time, Cramer’s stocks rose 12% compared to a 16% rise in the S&P 500. You would have been better off investing in the ETF SPDRs (SPY). Cramer is entertaining to say the least. So, we’re not advocating that you should tune him out, keeping an ETF portfolio might make life a little easier and more rewarding.
