PowerShares Files for 9 New ETFs

New_etfs Nine new exchange traded funds (ETFs) are awaiting approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). PowerShares latest products are listed below, according to a company press release:

  • Emerging Markets Sovereign Debt Portfolio - responds to the price and yield of the DB Emerging Market USD Liquid Balanced Index
  • PowerShares Aggregate Preferred Portfolio – follows the Merrill Lynch Fixed Rate Preferred Securities Index
  • PowerShares High Yield USD Bond Portfolio - tracks the Wachovia High Yield Bond Index
  • PowerShares Investment Grade Corporate Bond Portfolio – follows the Wachovia Yield Focused Investment Grade Bond Index
  • PowerShares Aggregate Bond Portfolio – follows the Merrill Lynch U.S. Corporate, Government and Mortgage Index
  • PowerShares 1-30 Laddered Treasury Portfolio - corresponds with the Ryan/Mergent 1-30 Year Treasury Laddered Index
  • PowerShares 1-20 Laddered Treasury Portfolio - follows the Ryan/Mergent 1-20 Year Treasury Ladderd Index
  • PowerShares 1-10 Laddered Treasury Portfolio - tracks the Features Ryan/Mergent 1-10  Year Treasury Laddered Index
  • PowerShares 1-5 Laddered Treasury Portfolio - corresponds with the Ryan/Mergent 1-5 Year Treasury Laddered Index
