3rings Claymore Advisors has licensed the Morningstar Super Sector Indexes for the creation of exchange traded funds (ETFs), according to a press release.  Registration with the SEC includes the three indexes, which divide U.S. equities into broad sectors – manufacturing, services and information.  This super sector classification started in 2002 and the basis is that companies are assigned to sectors based on their primary source of revenue.
