ETFs Blossomed in May – Monthly Performance Summary

Blossom May brought new highs to many of the indexes and exchange traded funds (ETFs).  Domestically, indexes were up about 3% for the month.  The Dow finished above 13,600.   

Global markets also received a push up, as Latin America gained an average of 12%; Asian countries were not far behind as China and Singapore rose 7-9%.  Canada had 9% gains, while Europe was more in-line with domestic indexes, up about 3%.

Telecom and internet infrastructure were the leading sectors, up over 9%.
