ETF Assets On The Rise

Elevator Exchange traded funds (ETFs) are boasted for their low costs, tax efficiency, and instant diversification. Assets invested in ETFs rose 2% to $431 billion in January from $ 422.6 billion in December. As Ian Salisbury from Dow Jones Newswires states there were a total of 407 ETFs in January, 306 of which tracked domestic stock indexes; 87 tracked international equity indexes and 14 tracked bond indexes.
