2833429540 A recent MarketWatch.com update reported the Tokyo Stock Exchange is studying a plan to offer exchange traded funds (ETFs) that are linked to the price of precious metals. The proposed ETFs would include gold, silver and other precious metals. The design would be in alliance with The New York Stock Exchange as part of the broad business alliance outlined between the exchanges last month. This would be the first financial product  linked to precious metals’ prices offered through the Tokyo Exchange. Currently, the Tokyo Stock Exchange offers 11 ETFs linked to equity indices.
