First Trust Advisors launched two new exchange traded funds (ETFs) based on the NASDAQ 100 Index. The First Trust NASDAQ Clean Edge U.S. Liquid Series Index Fund (QCLN) is made up of 46 stocks of companies involved in areas like clean energy and solar and bio-fuels. The First Trust NASDAQ-100 Ex-Technology Sector Index Fund (QQXT) consists of 58 companies involved in consumer goods and services, healthcare and other non-tech businesses. According to the press release the NASDAQ 100 index is made up of 100 of the largest domestic and international non-financial securities listed on NASDAQ.
