February 2007 ETF Performance Report

Globaltrend_1 February ended the month on concerns a correction in the markets may be apon us.  Exchange traded funds (ETFs) in the mid-cap arena outperformed small- and large-caps, gaining about 2% for the month.  Asia was mixed with Australia and South Korea up about 4% and Hong Kong and China down 4%.  Europe was basically flat except for Germany that gained 2% and Sweden which lost 2%.

Top performing sectors were oil and commodities which collectively gained 3-5%.  Health care and biotechnology were down about 3% and ETFs in the housing market saw a decline around 3%.
