Exchange traded funds (ETFs) ended the year with positive gains. Domestic markets hit new highs, but the global equity markets were the winners. While the Dow was up 16%, S&P 14% and Nasdaq 10%, China soared 81%, Mexico 43% and European markets were up on average 30%.
