For exchange traded fund (ETF) portfolios there are many factors to take into consideration. For instance, foreign exposure, asset class, reducing volatility or adding some yield. All of these can be answered by big-cap Europe, which has utility in the context of a diversified portfolio, according to Roger Nusbaum of The Street.com.
There are several ETFs available for European exposure, while they all have their differences, they are all heavily invested in the financial sector and the U.K. is the largest country weight. Before choosing one, make sure you take a look at each to see which fits best with your portfolio.
