Private Equity ETF Launched

Pvtequity Now small investors have a chance to get a piece of privately held businesses.  This is just one more way to show the innovation of exchange traded funds and the providers that bring them to market.  PowerShares announced it is going to launch the industry’s first Listed Private Equity exchange traded fund.

The ETF will be comprised of publicly listed U.S. securities whose main business is to lend and invest capital to privately held companies.  There are three areas of diversification, stage of investment, capitalization structure and industry focus.
