ETF Assests Rise

Increase Assets invested in exchange traded funds (ETFs) are up 0.7% from August to September, at $350.3 billion. Ian Salisbury of Dow Jones Newswire reports the total assets in ETFs are up 18% from the end of last year. As of September, there were a total of 290 ETFs.  Domestic equity ETFs made up $243.5 billion, with 215 ETFs.  There were 69 international equity ETFs and 6 bond ETFs.
