Sector Highlight: Emerging Market ETFs

Emerging market exchange traded funds (ETFs) are trading up today after a report showing the worker productivity in developing economies are rising. The Conference Board compared productivity trends in 111 countries and found that while productivity is up in those countries, it’s declining in developed markets. Between 2005 and 2009, the output per worker in developing nations rose at a 5.9% annualized rate, reports Jon Hilsenrath for The Wall Street Journal.
