Transportation ETF Chugs Forward After Good News

Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp. (BNI) reported strong earnings yesterday, boosting the transportation exchange traded fund (ETF) to a one-month high.
After the company reported fourth-quarter net income of $1.46 a share, the iShares Dow Jones Transportation Average (IYT) finished the day up 1.2%, its best performance since Dec. 31.
