July ETF Growth

The U.S.-listed exchange traded fund (ETF) assets were $482 billion at the end of July, according to State Street Global Advisors’ ETF Snapshot. This is slightly below last month that ended at $483 billion.
In July, 12 new ETFs were launched, five of which were from newcomer Ameristock. This brings the total of U.S.-listed ETFs to 538. The new ETFs had assets totaling $26 million for the month. Net cash flow into ETFs at the end of July totaled $39.7 billion year-to-date. That is up 14.4% from the same time last year.
