Can Foreign Investment Help Japan ETF?

Images Foreign investors fueled the gains for the Japanese markets and exchange traded funds (ETFs) from 2003 to 2005. Carl Delfeld for ETFXRAY.com reports overseas investors recently raised their stake in corporate Japan to record highs in hopes of breathing life back into a flagging stock market.  Is it possible that more foreign ownership could shake things up for corporate Japan?  These investors are betting on an economic recovery fueled by consumers, increased prices and shareholder activism.  iShares MSCI Japan (EWJ) and iShares S&P/Topix 150 (ITF) are up 3% for the year.
